UK's Auto Industry Bounce Back

When American news channel CNN wanted to analyse the current state and future prospects of the British Car industry and its supply chain there was no surprise when it came to the Midlands, the historic home of the UK car industry.

Looking to learn from the success of the UK's car industry to inform and help their own motor cities such as Detroit. When they then came to look at the supplier chain and how companies can diversify and build on the quality and skills learnt from the automotive sector in attracting new clients and supplying new markets possibly the worlds biggest news channel chose MCS to be the voice of UK Manufacturing!

Whilst not a stranger to visiting TV crews and regularly appearing on radio and in the British press as industry experts is was a novelty however to have an American crew knocking on the door. "It was interesting to have Americans asking us to show them how" said Jim Gray (Managing Director) "but we told them how we saw the writing on the wall RE the changes happening in the UK and European markets and as our customers and peers know it was our investment in equipment and training that made the difference for us"
